big fork

For those of you who may not have heard, with the relocation of the Mabel family,
Mabel’s on the Ridge will be closing its doors June 29th.

To all the wonderful people who we’ve met over the past 4 ½ years, I’d like to extend the most sincere, genuine and heartfelt thank you!

When we opened Mabel’s back in March of 2010, I could never have imagined how being a small business owner in our community would deeply touch the lives of my family and me. We have made so many new friends and take with us memories to last a lifetime.

There is no measure to the absolute gratitude we feel to the countless wonderful people who have opened their lives to us and their invitations to share ours with them. We’ve got the best customers any business owner could ask for. I’ve never felt more connected or supported by such a great group of folks.

While there were more than enough road bumps, headaches, & heartache along the way, those are all far outweighed by every warm smile, firm handshake, pat on the back, comforting hug, and familiar “it’ll all be ok” nod.

To my crew. I really can’t call them my crew as they chose me as much as I chose them. We should all be so lucky to live a 1000 years and have the opportunity to work so closely with some of the most amazing people you’d ever meet. Each of them is as special as they are unique. We at Mabel’s march to a little different drum beat taking pride in our diversity and “flexible personalities”. Volatility isn’t always a bad thing. The Yin needs the Yang. While they’ve all made me laugh, cry, smile, frown, and pull what’s left of my graying hair out. When I think about them all, I beam with pride on a scale unimaginable to most. Beyond coworkers or employees, I view them all as my dear friends and extended family.

We, all of us, have done something very special here and I am eternally grateful to my family, friends, community, & crew for joining me at the best party I’ve ever been invited to attend.
My hat’s off to all of you!

Josh & Tawni Mabel and family and the entire crew of friends here at Mabel’s on the Ridge.
